Sometimes it's the highway. A few years ago I was in Houston, with a colleague driving, and he rear ended the car ahead of us on an on-ramp. The cop who came to the scene said something like "Don't tell me..." and proceded to describe it in exact detail, as if he'd seen it himself. Just a kind of accident that was built into that interchange. We were not the first, and won't be the last.

Doesn't eliminate the fault and consequences, but it does reduce the dumb feeling.

Yea well I talked to the bodyshop today and the insurance adjuster came out today so they can start the work on the car. Turned out to be 7000 in damages and he gave me an estimate of 3 weeks to get it finished. I'm just glad it's going to get fixed. So until then I'll be driving this sweet bright red chevy aveo!!!

Yea well it couldn't of happened at a worse time because I was going to buy Atilla's rims off of him but now I've gotta pay the 500 deductible for my insurance and I may have to pay out of pocket to replace my front coilovers if it turns out they are messed up because my insurance company didn't cover the aftermarket parts.

The insurance company would have to cover aftermarket parts...as long as you have receipts (paypal invoices) you should be covered. Don't accept BS from the insurance companies. If they push, push back harder! But be careful, cause you were at fault in this case. GL

Uhh no they don't have to cover aftermarket parts unless you paid a premium for them and let them know about them.

Letting them know when you buy them helps! Even if you don't let them know but have receipts to prove, aftermarket parts will be reimbursed
