I have the 6-disc CD changer, and want to be able to play MP3s in my RX-8. I don't have an Ipod, and with no desire to purchase one, it looks like the AudioLink USB MP3 player is the best option for me. Any other good options out there?

One issue is my car also came with satellite radio, and the AudioLink uses the same port in the back of the stereo. Would it be wise to buy/create an adapter so I can use both? I wouldn't think it would be a problem, but I don't want to overload or short something out.

Anyone have experiences or input?

I don't know of a better option but I don't like the fact that this only holds 594 songs and only randomizes between 99 songs at a time. Basically just tricks your radio into thinking it has 6 CDs.

 

True, but 594 songs is better then nothing.
