Crashed my 8

Yep I crashed it this morning. Rear ended a Ford F150. Was trying to change lanes and a car came up so I had to swerve back into my lane and the truck in front of me had slammed on his brakes because we had hit traffic and I ran into him. Here are a couple quick pics i took with my phone on my car domain. there on page 2... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3114232

Damage doesn't look bad at all. Same damage I had when an uninsured motorist hit me.

I hate traffic.

Thats why you just relax and take your time.

No need to change lanes you don't get there any faster.

Especially in San Diego.

The traffic there is worse than going to LA

Good thing your ok.

Just talked to the body shop over 6 grand in damages the insurance company is supposed to be out tommorrow to look at it so they can start the repairs. No frame damage and they're not sure about the suspension yet he can't start taking it apart until my insurance company comes and looks at it. But it wasn't driveable I had to have it towed. Oh well this is the first time I've ever had to use my insurance and I'm 22 so hopefully my rates won't get too jacked up.

Well it wasn't so much I was trying to get somewhere faster it was the fact that I had to merge from the 15n to the 78w is why I was changing lanes I wasn't even going that fast I tried to change lanes and a truck went flying by in that lane so i swerved back into my lane and the F150 had slammed on his brakes because of traffic and I didn't have time to stop. It was totally my fault I know that but I wasn't driving like a jackass or anything...

Like I said I hate traffic. Traffic like that creates accidents because of the congestion.

Yea for sure I just didn't want people thinking I was driving stupid trying to get somewhere faster or anything. It definetly causes accidents because there was another one right in front of me when I was waiting beside my car for the tow truck to come. That area of the freeway sucks!!

You made a poor lane changing decision and admitted it. Get the car fixed and move on with your life. It will be tough without your 8 for a while. I feel your pain.
