Keep in mind I've owned the RX8 for 7months or so and this is my 2nd time being pulled over. Before this car I drove a Chrysler Minivan and never got pulled over in like 10yrs.

Okay as the story goes...I was on my way to the tile store. I see this cop on a dirt road close to my house about 1mile or so away. Slowly but surely he's on the same route as I am.

He is about 3 car lenghts behind me(not direcly behind either). I stop at the stop sign and keep going straight to only realize I passed my street so I pull into a driveway and turn around. [Now I'm sure if I was driving a beater this would have never happened...[

Cop is behind me and passes me. I'm on route now and minding my own business and what do you know... I see lights in my rear view mirror.

I don't have my license on me so he asks for id of any kind. I asked if I was speeding...he goes checks my info and comes back...

I ask so why did you pull me over...I say,

"You pulled me over because I have a nice car!" He laughed and knows my neighbour cop friend.

I say..."I'm going to tell all my friends on the RXforum that you were profiling my car."

He laughs again and say's he's going to tell all the boys my story. Says don't forget my license and lets me go.

Happened today...

 

And I'm guessing your white too...that means I could never move to Ontario. Virginia is bad enough!

 

So he never gave you a reason for pulling you over?!

If it was me, I would have been the guy pleading "Don't taze me, bro!!" just before I collapsed.

Well my windows are tinted so I don't think he even knew I was a female. I think he thought I was trying to avoid him. I even asked him if that's why he pulled me over.

Then I said to him he's profiling my car and he laughed. I said you pulled me over because I have a nice car!

 

Did he make any reference to his night stick?

 

^^No but did tell me he was on another call and at first he was a good 2miles behind me so he didn't have to pull me over. He just profiled my 8!

He could have handcuffed me if he wanted...

No but for real what was he hoping to find?? Because he was 2 cars behind me, I turn around and what? Did he think I had drugs or something?? I was pulled over for a whole 5mins. and that's it...

Did't notice my plate thank god or my dark tint either...hehehehe...

Oh HELL yea...I would have done the same thing. I would have wrote you a fake ticket requesting your number...

Blk cop huh? All the black cops here are bike cops...with those tight shorts....blah...couldnt get me into that outfit.

Side note: Black cops will NEVER write you a ticket for your tint...we pretty much REQUIRE that ****.

Well I will sticky it over my back windshield so I wouldn't get pulled over again.

This could have ended up with a no front license plate ticket and one for my tint because it is a little on the dark side, oh...and a no drivers license ticket!!

So true! I did have a cop apologize to me and tell me to take it to court and they will drop the speed and lower the points...

In Canada they just started this new law where you can get fined upto $5000 going 50km over. Your car is gone for a week and license suspended also plus you have a crazy fine to pay to get your car back...
