awesome im glad i can make someone laugh. The only reason i asked that is because that one guy said "we all know there IS a fix for the center console" and then he said something about the flashes fixing the problems..

oh wellll, forgive my dumbness. I really have no idea how any of this stuff works.

there was a tsb to add an insulation sheet under the cup holders. Not worth the effort or risk. Lots of dealers scratched up the plastic aluminum pieces in the process of taking the console apart.

Just as easy to add your own insulation right to the bottom of the cup holders. I had some thick saddle leather and cut them to fit the bottom of the cup holders. Works fine and absorbs any moisture to boot.

i agree - sandals and manual 8 - not good. i also go barefoot when i want to wear sandals.
