Been driving my car in horrid stop and go traffic all day today and when i got home I noticed my clutch makes a squeek sound everytime i push it in. Is this a sign of impending doom? Is it gonna die soon or is it pretty normal?

 

It's not normal - take it in to the dealer.

Mine's been doing it for a little while now (1-2 weeks). Mine is definately a cable rubbing sound. In my area the dealer mechanics are all on strike. Hopefully next week.

 

mine just sounds like a squeeky door or something.....like it needs lube. Its not extremely loud, only noticable when stopped. Ima drive later tonight and hopefully now that the car is cooled down it will magically be gone. Realistically Ill probably take it to the dealership on monday. Anybody else have any ideas on what it could be?
