Looking around I see that clear corners run about $80, does that sound right? Also where's the best place to get em and how easy is it to install them yourself?

 

That's about right unless you find some cheaper on ebay or in the for sale section of the forum, you can get them from rx8strakes.com for $70. I am looking to get some soon myself, I hear the install is fairly simple.

 

the install is easy there is a diy for it in the diy section if you want to look at that but simple overall

 

Are the clear corners from rx8strakes.com fit flush with the fender like the amber ones? The clear corners that I have seen are shaped somewhat different than the stock amber ones and protude out a little bit which I don't like. I don't know why they make them like that instead of being shaped like the stock ones.

 

they're the same. all clear corners you find will be mazda OEM from japan.

 

^^ Yes, all the clear corners stick out because they are designed for the Japanese market version of the RX8.

many people on here bought clear corners from this guy from japan on ebay.

it was brand new, shipped.. for like 55... yea from japan.

check ebay out.

 

Bought mine on eBay like lots of folks. Easy to do urself. Do a search on threads. Tons of them.

 

i'll be selling the new mazda genuine ones I bought for $65 when I receive them sometime in the next 2 days or so.. I decided that the stock amber go very nicely on VR.
