When considering this point of view, it's easy to see why so many have to resort to using the term "gay" when referring to our pride and joy. Or maybe it is because it is such a beast on the road, they equate it to a girl who sees her dream guy who knows how to dress well: "He MUST be gay, he can't be real."

I'm a huge fan of Honda motors when it comes to reliability; one of the biggest, actually.
But Honda fails at making anything aside from the S2000 (they did make it, at any rate) that is even remotely desirable from a pure sports car perspective.
Anyone who dares to compare let alone elevate a Civic to or above an RX-8 - they're just demonstrating an embarrassing lack of fundamental knowledge.
The Civic is fine for what it is - a front wheel drive, economical and reliable daily driver. It can even be fun to drive and quick off the line with Honda's bigger motor or a boosted one.
A sports car or rival to an RX-8 it will never be...
