i don't actually own an 8. i own a mazda 3. but i drove an 8 today and loved the pedals. so i was wondering if the pedal covers actually come off. are they bolted to the pedals, or actually part of the pedal? i'd love to get those pedals in my 3, so if anyone changes theirs out, let me know. i'd be willing to buy the stock ones.

 

I think they are part of the pedal system itself, not bolted. You may find similar pedals in the aftermarket sector. I agree, the pedals on our cars are hot!

its an actual pedal, not just a cover. my automatic RX-8 came with black pedals and i bought the metallic pedals at the dealer's parts department. great add-on in my opinion. i would check with ur dealer's service department and see if the pedlas fit on the 3 as well.
