1) Slightly. Not a large amount.
Mainly due to the issue mentioned above. Cleaner plugs make better combustion.

2) Probably not the current EPA2 standard. I have no test facility here to verify that. It should pas teh 2003 and earlier testing used in 48 states and Canada.
Remember: There is a reason Mazda had to downgrade the tune on the RX-8 to get it into the country.
There is no such thing as a free lunch.

3) Slight. Mainly smoother running.
