The RX-8's that I've test drove, as well as many pics I see, have smoke coming from the exhaust. I'm just wondering if this is a concern, or if it's normal for the RX-8.

I don't know about all of em but mine and my buddies all spew smoke out the tail pipes until they are fully warmed up...

I'm pretty sure most cars do when it is cold, until they are warmed up but I could just be talking outta my ***.

It hasn't been extremely cold, I'd say 40's.

yeah sounds like steam....shouldn't smoke if it has a CAT that's functional

 

Put a potato in each of the exhaust tips. That will quit 'er from smok'n.
