Hey guys! So I'm planning on buying another Spirit R. Problem is this one didn't come with the Bose. It has a Japanese head unit that looks really crappy and out of place. I love the stock look, so I was wondering if I could buy a US factory Bose head unit and retrofit? Will that work? I looked around eBay to find the Bose speakers but I couldn't find any S2 systems. I only found S1s. Would the S1 speakers work? I'm talking complete with the amp and mic.

I just want a stock look. Other cars have stock looking android head units but I couldn't find anything like that for the 8. I'd be happy to do that if there is a product like that for our cars.

I'm quite sure the R3 and Spirit R use the same radio. You will want to try to find one from a JDM parts supplier.

I still have it. Recently a new Spirit R was brought down to the island. It was mint and the second care here (after mine). I had to buy it. Sadly it's an auto but I'm usually stuck in traffic for over an over, so I don't really mind.
