Bose, Not-Bose Head Unit: How to Tell?

Is there a simple way (part number, maybe) to tell a Bose head unit from a base non-Bose head unit for an '04-'06 RX-8?
I've seen part numbers like these:
FE01 66 DSXA (non-Bose, I think)
FE02 66 DSXA
FE02 66 ASO
FE04 66 ASO

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about serial numbers. Bose units do NOT have a midrange adjustment and DO have the Audioplt feature. Base headunits have the midrange feature and no Audioplt.
