Buy Back
back in 04 before rx8 was released they told everyone that it had 250hp....so some people ordered prior to release and just before the official release mazda stated a lower hp (240ish) number than advertised so they offered to buy back the already purchased rx8s
Do you mean the original buy back from the HP advertised not being correct? Are you talking about a lemon law buy back? Or a dealer "needing used cars in your area"? (I love the last one, I used to get it every year for a truck I had).
1. Dealer has critical shortage of desirable used cars and needs my NEON
2. Warranty is about to expire on my NEON and needs to be extended
I can assure you that said NEON (purchased for daughter to drive in college) was not desirable and out of warranty when I sold it in the year 2000.
If you purchased a NEW Rx8, less then 12-15 months ago(depends on the state) and you have had significant service issues, and Mazda North American Motors is trying to buy the car back as conveyed by the Service Manager of your local dealership, then you are finally in luck, after a whole heap of bad luck. If this is not the case, well then your local dealer would love to have your car, it is in high demand, and you will never be able to get more for it then you can today, and THAT is a FACT.
It may be funny salesman-speak, but your car will reduce in value everyday from here until it dies. It really never will be worth more then today.
