Bridge Port ???

Bridge Port ???

with the ports being moved what kinda moster porting do you think you can do on these and with 10K RPM a bridge or PP would pull major power!!!

I wouldn't go further than a heavy street or very small street bridge port, unless you're planning on making a dragster out of the Rx-8. A PP, J-bridge and D-bridge will kill engine life drastically. You should do some research on rotary porting before considering one.

im only looking for 20k or so rebuild about 1 time a year.

I was asking about this cause I have not seen the inside of the new motor if even a BP or PP, JP is posiable.

Im planning on gutting the enter car get the weight down to about 2400 2500.

No heavy bridge port such as JB DB or PP will last 20k miles, heavy bridges like that you have to rebuild the engine after a couple of races.

Thats strange I have a FC with BP 6mm that has almost 25K on it. Im planning on tearing it down and freshining it up in April

Well you can street bridge if thats what your talking about, a street bridge will last a long time, but JB, DB or PP are for serious racing purpose and you will have to rebuild after each run. Your FC probably has a very small bridge like my 84' which is fine for a daily driven car.

standard bride is 8mm long my is 6mm long not much low end but from 4500 - 8000 you better hold on to something.
