body shop flooded engine

body shop flooded engine

So the body shop was apparently not aware of the rx8 flooding situation and of course they flooded it. so what should i do now? is it on them to fix or what.

Did you try the de-flooding procedure?

Did you make them aware of the fact that they should not just move the car without letting it warm up before shutting it off? If you explained that it could flood if turned off cold then I would say it is definitely their fault. If not then next time you know you should tell them how to treat the car.

the mechanic shop is also working on car with some minor stuff...and they and body shop work together...and they were both in the same room when i was talking about it with the mechanic guy....and apparently the body shop guy was not paying attention or forgot >.<

Oh well? It is not like it broke your engine or anything - deflood it, if it happens again then it would be "their fault?"

car should not flood when its healthy ---- means u did all ur proper maintenance before hand, not after it starts throwing misfires. and of course all updates applied.

my car never flood even when it has low compression.

Me too but mine flooded once, but got it to start using a battery charger.

Just have to know how to get a flooded car staqrted.
