I can't beleive all the bad luck thats happening with my car.

It's not the car itself thats the problem. It's the people that are around it .

first a hit and run
then a hook goes threw the front of the car.


and now someone at work came to my desk and told me someone was trying to break into it. I dropped what i was doing and ran downstairs. Thank God there was no damage done to the car. But I do have a full handprint on the window. I think i'm going to invest in an extreme alarm system for the car.

If I would've caught this guy . He would be part of the bottom of my foot right now.

Bad Luck Dents for me - I have TWO dents now from people with no respect for fine automobiles!

Man, I total know what you mean. I just made my first payment and some SOB broke my front driver's side window but didn't steal anything (which by the way will cost you about $250 bucks to replace). There was a radar detector, a cell phone, and a I-pod all within reach and not one thing was touch. He did manage to scratch up the door though... Which brings me to my question. Has everyone had their car repainted? I have (what I think is) the awesome red color and I am afraid that if they paint it, it will never look the same due to the metallic chips in the paint. I tried the touch up paint and had it buffed and wax but I can still see the scars up close. I could probably live with it if I had to but I am really bummed now.

Boy I really need some wood to knock on big time after I say this, but so far so good with my new 8...no dings, dents, chips, hooks, etc. I know that I must look silly parking my car half a mile away from stores, but hey...after all, it's an 8!

Yeah man.. invest in an alarm for sure! I just had a cool one put into my car..

It's just a stock Viper system... so if the car gets bumped hard itll go off.. or if it becomes un-level.. or if someone tries prying the doors, ignition kill, etc..... normal in that regard.. BUT..

I had a special feature added... this thing I call 'the screamer.....'

A handful of tweeters placed under the dash.. if someone actually makes it into my car when its armed... a sound similar to about 10 smoke detectors goes off right in their ear. People can only stand it for a few seconds before they have to get the **** away... even standing outside the car with that goin off is hard to bear. Like someone scrubbing at your brain with barbed steel wool...

Anyhow.. get an alarm d00d!!

Vandalism is something thats impossible to be safe from... but at least no one can steal my car
