Auto PWNS in motorsport...if you wanna win, drive an automatic!

Even F1 driver will fck up their shift and lose the race...

Ok...I mean those auto that blip throttles when you downshift in 40ms...

Wow Nice examples. I hope they cost less than 40k

And yes I know the Jag XK auto blips on downshifts...

I never did get this "debate". To each his own, you're not going to convince someone to go AT or MT with this thread.

Lady adding to this thread Sorry, to not let this thread die. I'm not going to try and convince someone one way or the other - to each their own. But I feel like if you are going to buy a sports car, or a muscle car, manual is the way to go. But then again, I'm a control freak and I like to harness my power.

Manual on the 8 for sure. Other cars with more torque and auto can be a decent substitute. 04-05 8s with ATs are slugs.

Oh it's on like Donkey Kong! Think I might just have to bump this thread occasionally just for you then Lurch. Muahahahaha!

-note- I learned to drive stick on a farm when I was 13. I think everyone should learn how. Another note, I don't know why more women don't drive stick...in theory, it should be easier since our feet are smaller and less clunky...unless you have lumberjack attributes! lol

They still make Auto because most people are lazy these days. and they refuse to try to even learn how to operate a manual.

Do you have any idea how long it took me b4 my gf finally willing to learn Manual ?

ppl gotta stop their laziness and start working on their left foot.

If u dont have a left foot, yeah sure then why not an Auto tranny ?

If the next rotary car has no Manual tranny option, I will not even buy it, no matter how much I love Rotary.

Just look at the newest GT-R, u know how many ppl bitch about it NOT having a Manual Transmission option.
It's 99.9% sure to have a dual clutch transmission. So you might as well not even bother looking at the spec's of the next RX.

Myself on the other hand - Sign me up. I can't wait to try out a dual clutch Rotary!

+2000lbs on a 90HP bike - I still think I might be able to eke out a win

Nice bike, Jason! I have a 2009 Monster 696 Dark. Only my 2nd bike, but am loving it! I looked at an R6 before getting the Duc, but spent some time in Italy not too long ago and fell in love with their bikes.
