I've still got the RX8, even autocrossed it recently. There's nothing bad about the handling, although it takes work to keep the revs up in the powerband. Great car overall. Enjoy!

^ See due to the bump we got a cool update from Ophiotxaemia.

People need to quit complaining about the thread rez's. You guys are gonna scare all the newbs away. They cant win, if they re-post a question that has been answered before everyone yells "SEARCH NEWBZ!". If they actually use the search function and post in an old thread everyone yells "DONT POST IN OLD THREADDS NEWBXZ!". So which one is it? Would you guys rather have them not post at all and theses forums slowly die off becaus theres no new members and nothing new to talk about?

Lol I love this post. It makes perfect sense yet answers absolutely nothing.

Anyway - who else is enjoying the news of the 2013 RX-9 getting 300+hp with a dual clutch transmission?

Maybe you are interested in M1 then? Since they decided not to put the DCT in it.

I love how people burn a newb when he makes a new thread telling them to search. Then when they do search, it's 'Why did you bump this???'. It confuses me.

On topic: Congrats on still enjoying the car, Ophitoxaemia!

2004 doesn't seem long ago at all to me. When the RX-7 was discontinued in 1998 I waited all the way until 2003 to buy another rotary, the RX-8. That seemed like a long time. And there's still nothing like it.

Since my original post, the RX-8's dominated B-Stock at Solo II Nationals starting 2006. Double a-arms, not too heavy, lets the driver control the car, winding the motor near 10K is still as exciting as ever. What's not to like? Want torque? Buy a Mustang.
