Was it the tranny or just the torque converter? For some reason I thought torque converter was the limitation here, not really the transmission.

Taj may not admit it but he was trying to push beyond the limits cuz he thinks he is bullet proof. I know the tranny and the torque converter will stand up to 9 grand but not if you try and force it to shift.

I did try to shift @ 9krpm -_-

at that time I even wanted to go 10k to see whether it was possible

guess what....its not! hahahaha
