I completely agree. I still have 5 years before my oldest daughter starts driving, but I can assure you she is going to earn her car, and it's certainly not going to be a $35k sports car. No wonder today's youth have a skewed sense of value. I always thought my dad was a tightass growing up, but now I appreciate the lesson.
