Anyone else drive with the lights on?

The Xenon headlights look so cool )especially with the blue tint) I drive around with the lights on all day, every day. Anyone else do the same?

I think it's a good question. I've made a habit of turning on the lights when driving my 8. I can't prove it, but I think this has prevented several cars from pulling out in front of me.

It really does look awesome. Makes the car more noticable.

And wow, Canada requires headlights on during the day? I can see how that would be annoying.

That is almost as bad as people driving around with their fog lights on, when there is no fog.

I did the fog light mod, so anytime the engine is on, so are the fog lights...

in canada, our "daytime lights" are not the xenon bulbs, just the regular halogen ones; so its not annoying at all since you cant really see the light during the day anyway;

I will use them in the daytime because no one in Phoenix can see any other cars on the road. They are to busy talking on their phones and driving at 80 MPH, running red lights and all around not paying attention to what the hell they are doing. So I use my horn, I use my headlights and I use my finger.
And they look cool , (headlights),,,,,LOL

Agreed. Traffic awareness in DFW is also a pain. After reading this thread, I think I'll have my lights on more often. Like 1.3L said, I think they do make others a little more attentive and maybe slightly intimidated when they see you.

Same here. With a Ti Grey in overcast Seattle, it's almost as bad as having the Silver curse .

Hwy 1, near Monterey requires lights on during daylight hours, also Hwy 46 coming into Paso Robles from Hwy 5, and Hwy 1 in the Morro Bay area foggy enough to need them most of the time. Good thing there is that nice little warning alarm when you turn off the key!

My lights have been on 100% of the time when driving since I bought the car, and will remain on.

I agree with the Ti cars being invisible. I have had SUVs drive right at me on an empty multilane road, and be totaly shocked when I used my horn.

So I use my lights when I think the stupid quotient is high.

Since my car is black I don't use the lights all the time, but I do fairly often. Especially when I am back home in downtown Chicago - I just got hit by a stupid taxi yesterday, nothing wrong with the car, though...

And who the hell cares about wearing out a bulb? Better than having someone total my car becuase they didn't see it.

I plan to keep my 8 for a long time, so I want to save my lights and usually keep them off during the daytime. But at any hint of rain, clouds, or fog, they go on. I think the lights are freakin awesome, but I refrain from leaving them on to avoid looking like a pretentious ***.

Just to be clear, the daytime running headlights aren't the HIDs if you have them...

Ain't nothing wrong with having them on . I had a 97 Saturn and they had to lights on all the time. I really haven;t look to see what the car looks with the lights on during the day. I will when I get out of work. If I like , I just might start..
