My first rotary and my first Mazda. I did a few weeks of research on it before buying it and this forum helped me a lot. Just wanted to say thanks.

P.S. Any SoCal 8 owners?

Congratulations, Chris! Welcome to the family I live in Atlanta but have family on the west coast, so if I'm ever in the neighborhood, I'll give you a heads up!

I'm in Glendale. I hope you didn't buy from Santa Monica Mazda....at least if you are expecting to get any kind of decent service. I'm about ready to sue them. So far I love my car, and Mazda North American Operations have been good to work with. Santa Monica Mazda has been a disaster. You should check out the So Cal. RX club. They have meets every month or so. Good way to meet fellow RX7/RX8 owners.

I bought mine last week. Only had 7 miles on it. Was built June 04. Is a great car. I like a quite ride and this car is not made for that but I still enjoy the car. There were only two in the country and I have an auto. Yep, you guessed it. Wife will not even try the manual. Still the car looks and drives great. Hope all of us get tons of miles out of these cars. I am in Colorado
