mazdaspeed spoiler

I am planning on buying a mazdaspeed spoiler. I bought my car from flemington mazda in nj. do you think i am I more likely to get a discount from them since i bought the car from them. is there a better mazda dealership in the area that i can get it from...i am looking for the real mazdaspeed one, i checked out the search and found some sites for replicas...
According to mazdausa.com it is about 1000 for the spoiler(painted), how much do you think they would charge to install it

thanks

You can get it online for about $800. And you should be able to get the 15% discount on top of that. I think truss or rosen has free shipping too.

Your dealer will charge about $200 to do the install, if your car already has the stock spoiler, you can do the install yourself. Otherwise you have to drill some holes in your trunk.

I put my MS spoiler on myself. I had to drill the holes, but it was very easy to do. They send template on where to drill the holes. I found Rosenthal mazda selling mine on ebay and got it $725 shipped. I love it. It looks sooo good.

I think Trussville has it for $876.00 last I checked.

Anyone have an estimate as to what a dealer would charge for installation of the entire MS kit (front bumper, side skirts, rear underspoiler, and spoiler)?

It'll probably cost a bit to install. Like everyone said, there's always MS spoilers available for cheaper than Mazda's quoted price. I finally had a chance to see it myself last weekend at the dealer, and I have to say I'm quite impressed. Pictures don't do this thing justice.

Boy, that's a good question. I've never tried negotiating price with the service department. I thought you could only do that with the sales department.

Well, what's "a bit"?

Let's look at this from the standpoint of how many hours it would take to install the front bumper, side skirts, rear spoiler, and rear undertray. 10 hours? More?

How much do they charge per hour for labor these days?

Anyway, I completely agree about the pics not doing the MS spoiler justice. Got to see the VR 8 they had at Sevenstock, and the MS spoiler was awesome!

Are you referring to the rear wing?

Can anyone post pics? I have the factory "appearance package" (I'm so glad they don't lie to you and say "aero kit" because I'm sure all that stuff doesn't do dick for downforce or drag except add drag), and am interested in seeing the difference.

Also, anyone know if the MS stuff will mount up the the same holes as the appearance pack stuff?

I found out recently that my local dealer (which I bought the car from), WILL match Trussville or Rosenthal's prices on parts. Apparently the lower prices listed (as compared to the suggested retail), are the minimum they can sell those parts for. I went down a list of all the parts I wanted for my car, I wrote down the suggested retail (which my dealer was asking), and then the rosenthal/trussville prices, and without telling my parts person what they were asking, he quoted me the exact same prices (down to the penny) that Trussville/Rosental were quoting. Another thing the parts person told me that I never realized... non-Mazdaspeed dealerships cannot order/sell Mazdaspeed parts.

So, make sure Flemington Mazda is a Mazdaspeed authorized dealership (which I'm sure you have already done), and tell them you can get that part for $XXX.XX, will they MATCH or beat that price. I'd call the service Dept first to see wha tthe labor is BEFORE getting a price quote on the rear wing, just in case they want to inflate the installation price to make up on lost profit on the parts. Just my $0.02.

P.S. "You from jersey? I'm from jersey!" j/k
