Almost bought an 8 yesterday

So I'm at the Mazda dealership picking up some parts, and ordering new ones when something catches my eye. It was an '05 Snowflake pearl RX-8. That color is just amazing in person. I can't believe that it was on the lot instead of in the showroom. It was just as I would want it too. It was the 6MT with the the sports package, appearance package, and wing. It was simply gorgeous. So now I'm saving up to get an '05-'06 around December-January time frame as a daily driver while I restore my FD. Does anyone else here have a snowflake pearl 8?

Snow Flake White on Mazda's Canadian website. (Funny, I always thought snowflake was one word.)
Of course, it could well be whitewater pearl in the Excited States.

Yeah, I've always called it whitewater too, but it did say Snowflake on the car itself.

i know this post is a little old, but here, this is from MAZDA's web site.
thats funny that they would have to names for it.

i thought it was whitewater pearl, and you proved it called snow flake white,

so here is the reason i call it whitewater pearl.

White was new for the US in '05, but was available in Japan from day one where it is called snowflake pearl white. It seemed that Mazda NA changed the name to whitewater for marketing reasons, however maybe because it's called snowflake in most other parts of the world, the name slipped through on the window stickers. go figure...

Regardless, I think it's a very nice color, probably my second choice after Lightning Yellow.
