Yep, I grew up on the NY/PA border and we honeymooned in Old Forge NY, so I'm familiar with the roads there. Nice scenery, particularly in the fall. I'm pretty much settled on getting some new summers and using the truck if it gets bad out. I'd also like to take her for a few runs down at PPIR for the open track days when I get the money/chance just to see how it really corners! Any suggestions on the summer types? I'd still like a quiet, fairly smooth ride.

And the route 67 from Woodland Park through Deckers is my favorite (close) run. Other than going clear over to the black canyon and up 550.

(All motorcycle experiences, car hasn't been anywhere yet.)

You should join Iluvrevs and I for a track day at HPR sometime during the summer.
I turned him into a track junkie at the end of last year.

Having 3 RX-8's taking turns slicing up HPR will put the Corvettes, Miata's, and BMW's on notice that another car club is starting to get serious on the track here in Colorado.

BC.

Would definitely be happy to have more 8s out there. I’m going to try to squeeze a day in this month, but will certainly be out each month after and maybe 2x a month until November/December time. Of course I say that now, we will see how much I can hold back.

Well, my new transmission came in today... The dealer said it was evidently dropped on it's tailshaft, so they are ordering another one... I still haven't driven it 100 miles since I bought it.

Sigh
