My Air bag Light is on, what should i do?

 

Anyway, that's me again...

I just bought an RX-8 from auction. I fixed it all the way. It was hit in a side so the side curtain airbag expoded as well as driver's seat airbag. I got those replased, with airbags that i bought from one of my friends, who had an Rx8 in his back yard for parts. Now my Airbag light is still on. I called several dealerships asking them about it; i got multiple answers. some said that i need to come and they'll do a computer test and it will tell me what should i do, that would cost $90.00 Others said that i need to reset the computer or the sensor and the light will go off. Other plase told me that i need to repace the sensor, which is in the front, and it is $179.00 Some of my friends tell me that i would probubly have to buy a new computer for that car...

SO wandered if anyone of youguys has had a simular situation, whre you have everything in place, just the light is on? May be you could sugest me something. I don't want to go to dealer the first thing and pay $90.00 just to have them tell me that i have to reset my computer or replace a sensor or whatever... So please let me know if you have had a familiar situation...

I've never had an airbag go off in my 8, but I have one go off in my previous car. The sensor did not need to be replaced. The computer just needed to be reset.
