I started using FP 60 right after buying our 8 in 07 and immediately noticed a reduction in carbon build up on the tail pipes, finally ran thru the first gallon and will be using FP Plus next.

Yeah but if you premix using the FP+ is pointless. Premix is far more important than FP+. In my opinion. Tail pipe soot can be managed easily by washing your car regularly.

Actually the main reason I use the stuff is it claims to create a cleaner burn and help keep carbon deposits down in the engine, my reason for mentioning less build up on the tail pipe. While I've never premixed I'll soon be boosting the car and will premix with protek, but will still add FP+ for the reason stated above. And yes I've already checked and the two do play well together.

I doubt the FP+ will work the same in the presence of 2 stroke (Protek R is just 2 stroke). FYI, carbon build is mainly caused by gas. There is no proof FP+ does anything in a rotary considering you have gas, engine oil, and FP+ all in a volatile environment. And premixing will probably lead to more tail pipe soot depending on which type you use.

maybe he still has the magazine. On that note you have to be very careful just to make sure dont get fuel on the paint, so I watch the nozzle as it is.
