i was just giving a rough estimate, baiscally what i was saying is that a lot of the 04's have to be replaced, im just nervous cause i spent my life savings on this car and i cant afford a new engine

if your engine goes out within 8 years or 100k miles then it will be replace under warrenty free of charge

WARRANTY that is what it's there for for 8 years or 100,000 miles if your engine goes(unless u turbo or S/C or somehow void the engine warranty) it is covered for FREE

Yeah, you can factor in random lemon engines and dealership screwing stuff up on replacing them, etc for about 1/4 of the replaced ones.

You'd be surprised how many people have had new engines that ARENT on this forum.

I think we might be surprised at how many engines got changed that didn't really need it as well. Not sure, but...................seems like there was a rash of that for awhile.

i actually just searched it up for you and yes the 8yr 100k is on every rx8 out there no matter what continent or counrty except youd have to convert to km to know exactly how much but its the same worldwide sorry if i came across rude but the amount of threads these days is crazy
