OK,

My Titanium 8 with Grand Touring, Appearance, Spoiler, and Rotary Accents will be in this coming Friday. I'm SO pumped. I've been reading the forums and I'm going to make sure the dealer at least does the following:

1) Check fix against 2 recalls
2) Updates PCM to "M"
3) Check A/C

Anything else I'm missing?

thats the importrant stuff.. You will mostliky need the A/C fix as well ..

the rest is minor.

Th A/C fix is for early cars built before 9/11/03 vin below 118171. On newer cars the M flash is the big one to get. The recalls will be done because they have to before the sell the car that is the fed law.

 

CD changer. Makre sure your CD unit in the truck works. I've heard a lot of problem with not able to read CD from the trunk device.

I had that problem.

If you put you cold drink in the cup holder, the the heat bleeding thru the cup holder from below will cause you drink to warm up. Great for coffee, no so great for cold drinks. Use this link to find out all the info on all the TSB's (tech service bulletins).
