Well the wife's 2005 RX8 turned the big 50,000 miles this week . Here is a small recap on the car?
A] Bought the car and could not take it home till the recall was done... the insulation pad ... The Dealer gave her choice of any 8 on the lot to drive , they also made her 1st payment for the inconvience
B] Took it in for the recall on the battery and starter recall, plugs
c] The taillight had moister in it ... Mazda replaced them 2x
d] The cd changer went out ... replaced radio/cd changer
e] 1 time she flooded the car... Mazda sent out a flatbed picked it up repaired the car.... Dealer had her a loaner the next morning..
f] The service light has come on 2x, dealer said it was due to carbon build up on a part.... I think she drives it to easy..lol
g] she got 32.000 miles out of the oem set of tires
h] Front and rear bakes replaced

I can only say the BEST ABOUT THE DEALER AND MAZDA FOR THE RX8 .... GREAT SERVICE AND TAKING CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

SHE HAS 50,000 MILES OF SMILES
