I went back to my local dealer to test drive the R3 again. They have 3 blues and a red, they need to make a deal on one of them.

So I go in and ask the receptionist if Steve __________ is there.

"No but his partner Dave is here"
"Okay let me speak to Dave".
"Hi Dave I want to test drive that blue R3 again".
"Okay, let me get the keys, be right back"

I meet Dave at the car, we get in and Dave's cell phone rings. I hear Dave say, "Fine, I'll come back in, I'll just let Steve's customer take this car out by himself".

"well sorry about this, have fun, don't wreck it".

YYEEEEEEEEHHHHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a blast, gotta get an R3!

 

I wouldn't be a happy customer knowing that my new R3 was driven by a bunch of people .

 

I test drove this same car about a month or more ago, and again today. It has a whopping 31 miles on it. I've probably put 15 on it myself. That tells me there's not a lot of interest in R3's at this dealership. And considering they have 4 on the lot, I would think they would want to deal. Plus there are 2 other Mazda dealers in town and neither of them have R3's.

 

When I was shopping, I only found 2 '09 blue r3's within 500 miles of where I live, and the closest one - which I bought - had 400 miles on it. I cringe a little when I think about what it went through. I think it will be ok, though.

 

Buy the one you drove.

 

Yeah, when new cars start racking up miles on the lot, I'd be less likely to buy that one.

 

R3 = Kick *** car. I've test driven a lot of cars and when I test drove the R3 I was blown away, even having previously owned an 07 RX-8
