So I just did a search on cars.com to see if there were any pictures of the RX8 in the new silver (looks a lot like my silverstone s2k) and noticed the trunk doesn't have the mazda badge. I double checked a few other cars posted and they are all missing it. I also noticed the sirus antena was not body colored.

Anyone else know what little changes like this are on the '10s? I know its really small details but heck I like finding little things like this.

 

rumor is, it doesn't come with any pistons or turbo either.


am guessing you mean the 2009 edition? as the 2010 has not been released yet...

They look just like the 2009's. Somebody posted some pics of one somewhere on here.

He he, I know they look just like the 09s, but they seemed to have dropped the mazda emblem for some reason (save cost? lol). Although mazdausa.com is not updated many are on dealer lots already.

I just wondered what other little things they changed, I mean why bother with the emblem after all these years?

 

WTF?! I don't get why the hell they would do that. It's a pretty **** poor way to try to save a few bucks if thats the reason. Maybe the pics are photoshopped? Or maybe they are from another country where the cars don't have the badging on them? Just a couple of random thoughts.

 

I'm pretty jealous. I like the look of just the flying m and now all one has to do is peel off the rx8 and not have to fill any holes. Shakes fist angrily.

i actually noticed this today as well a buddy just got an 2010 and no mazda! so much easier to debadge!

 

But now how will I be able to tell my Mazda rx8 apart from a toyota rx8?

and its really a class thing. if a company feels it has the name brand recognition that all it needs is its logo, then to put its name there to is just redundant. especially since the biggest seller is the "mazda3." kind of hard to mistake that for say.. a honda.

Who says balanced is always better? I personally think it looks better - it draws your eyes to the RX8 name. But again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

FWIW - It is one of the major performance features of our cars...

 

I doubt that exact rendering would. The A-pillar looks far too low angle to meet US safety criteria.

It doesnt look too far off of the model they debuted though.

 

I'm not sure i like that very much lol, maybe a different angle pic would change my mind...

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought.What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

 

Aw, I'm gonna miss the Mazda badge. It goes back a long way, way before the flying m or the rising sun. Oh well.
