2004 RX8 Traction Control System

Can this feature be "added"

I have a base 6speed.
If so, how much?

Is it a simple thing like wiring in the switch or is it more involved(likely impossible)

Jeff

Way more involved, and practically impossible

Forget about it.... probably cheaper to trade your car in and buy a new one with it.

Just a bit more info for you about it... there are sensors all over ... on the wheels (also used for ABS), in the suspension (ride height at the 4 corners), a steering wheel position sensor, and of course the throttle, maybe more I've missed, and the all feed a computer that decides when to use the Electronic Brake Force Distribution capability at each wheel to selectively apply brakes, and perhaps adjust the throttle as a last resort to keep your fun little 8 on the straight and narrow path - all in the blink of an eye - and only when you really need it!

Ahhhhh, computers - and this one actually sits there and lets you have a lot of fun before carefully and unobtrusively doing only what is needed at the limits of the car's adhesion!
