18's maximum specs

hi guys, I know this will get answered fast by the pros. What are the maximum dimensions for 18's as far as off set and width for the RX8 6spd. Summer is almost here and I want to order my new wheels ASAP.

and I am not sure which rims are good, my friend told me motegi touge rims are okay. I am looking for some rays.

my car has no drop yet but I may get teins springs.are they any good?and I have turboxs,the pipe is very close to the ground so I dont know if i drop the car...hmmmm.

So help me out. 18's maximum specs !!!thanks a lot!

18X10 will fit...but a lot of us run 18X9.5 45 offset on 275 or 285 width tires on all 4 corners

Supposedly not.... I think the offset would be 50? Like I said...18X9.5X 45 offset fit

275/285 on all 4s? thats super duper huge...cant imagine how much of the car's power its gonna sap.

Actually if you get the right rim, they have a substantially lighter 9.5" than stock. The Enkei's offer a rim that will give you 9.5" all the way around with the weight being around 17-18 lbs., a good 5 lb. reduction in unsprung weight.

okay,thanks guys, i guess 18x 9 will do just fine.any suggestion on what kind of rims I should get? and I dont see any rays rims are 18 x9...?

Dont want to steal the thread, but i was wondering, with the 9 inch wide wheels, what size tires would you guys recommend wrapping them with?
