Sometimes you just have to do what's necessary. Many years ago, while working under a car, I managed to sever a finger from my right hand. The only car available was my 68 VW, stick of course. Drove myself to the emergency room totally left handed. And a 53 hp VW that revs to maybe 3k needs to go through all 4 gears.
