If there are facelift would they have mention it in the spec deck?
also, they did not mention if there are radio equipment change, such as aux-in...
From 2007 Mazda 3 spec,
http://media.ford.com/mazda/article_...ticle_id=23151
"Audio systems have been upgraded with an auxiliary audio input and 12-volt power outlets are now standard for all models, providing the driver or passenger the option of bringing their own portable audio player to enjoy their favorite music in the car. "

Stuck in a love triangle
The performance is going to remain unchanged after 4 years? Jesus.
Oh but look...more new colors!
Those are some quite impressive upgrades to look forward to for next year.

that is really depressing. they change the colors but not what most of us are complaining about, which is the hp. i don't know about you guys but i don't give a F@ck about colors. you would think mazda would recognize this.

Its kind of like fashion. 'JAMS' popped in the late 80s more than a pair of khaki pants. but they look silly now.

What you said is true, but it's almost my point. I don't want a classic color because it seems safe and boring. If I planned on getting a sedan and keeping it for 10 years I'd be all for the classic colors.
Oh well, if all Mazda does for 2007 is changing colors and changing up some of the standard equipment I'll just pick up a 2006 WB.

That new blue looks like it almost could be the cobalt blue on the Mustang.
I wish my stereo came with the aux input so I could "easily" play my iPod.
Otherwise, I don't see much in the way of differences or anything else I wish I had.

Just notice something, on SIRIUS Satellite Radio System, if you look at page 4 in Spec Deck, it says with 1 year subscription, but on page 6, it says 6 month.
Also, looking at Miata order form and spec deck, it says CDC in-dash 6CD/MP3 changer, so the 6 CD changer now plays MP3 as well??? *EDIT* Nevermind, only miata's CD changer has MP3 capability.

Zoom FLUFF Zoom......Zoom FLUFF Zoom.....
FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF....FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF........Zoom FLUFF Zoom....
No one does FLUFF better than Mazda. Wow...4 years and not even a 10-15HP upgrade on the car. So, they look at the RX8 sales...while satisfied, they say...hey...if we dump new colors and let go of other colors we might be able to sell a few more....yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
I understand I have an 05, so what am I complaining about, but I still would like (as a fan of the RX8) to see the car PROGRESS into something better than it already is.
Direct fuel injection...., 300HP.....Supercharger.....blah blah blah...all lies and rumors.
I'm sorry, that's my rant...I hope I'm wrong.
FLUFF FLUFF eveyone....freaken colors....

There was an HP increase and tranny upgrade in 2006 - for the AT, plus a leather & keyless start upgrade for the 06 GT's. I guess 2006 was the update year for the 8. I'm just glad that they didn't screw with the exterior and mess it up.

Go Texas Longhorns!
Given how late the technical '06 model came out, I'm not surprised that the '07 model has few if any changes or updates.
This also means we'll see an '08 model within 12-14 months (some time in 2007) which I bet will have more of an update.
From statements at Sevenstock, I know that there is some kinda of next gen RX?? on the way, that was coming from discussions with Mazda program employees. They were vague, but let slip somethings about next gen transmissions etc...
I bet Mazda has had so much of its resources tied up in getting the new CX7 & CX9 out the door that they haven't had the time or resources to do a major redesign of the 8. Mazda has gone back to focusing on its bread and butter cars and trucks to strengthen the lineup.
I'm not particularly worried about the 8 somehow being negected or dropped. We've seen a variety of rotary concepts that show the engine is very much alive and being refined. Expect to see a all aluminum DI engine within the next three years.

I'm tellin ya, if they made the sunroof optional on that car, it would sell better. I know tons of 6 footers who won't buy it because they don't want their head touching the ceiling. I don't even care about hp upgrade, I just want to fit in it!
