Well I think it really depends on if the 300 has 32" rims, 10 different subs and

100 speakers while bumping 50 cent. If that's the case i'm pretty sure you will

Power to weight ratio is .079 for the rx8 and .084 for the 300c. The 300c would be a little bit faster with equal drivers. Maybe 2 car lengths faster in the quarter, although a race might be even from a roll. The rx8 can stay with cars it should'nt from a roll.

 

Rx-8 sucks in straight lines Even Rsx type S can beat it...

 

The rx8 has a slight advantage over the rsx-s in power to weight. The rsx-s would trail by 1 to 1/2 car lengths in the quarter. it would be a drivers race in most cases.

 

Speed is not all about power to weight, but also gearing and loss of power as it get's to the wheels (which the RX-8 has plenty of). There is no getting around it, the stock RX-8 is slow, and against similarly skilled drivers, it would lose to a type S.
