[Help] Engine stalled

dear bro/sis kindly advice if u have any idea....

My experience on my 4AT (i'm from asia.. climate about 33C)

1. was stuck in heavy tracffic for about 90min then engine die while going, can't crank start, stop aside for like 10min to let her cool down then finally can start again.
after that i can't rev more then 5k rpm, the rpm will drop after 5k, have to wait till next day for her to cool down completely (or maybe half a day).... then can go for redline again.....

2. was again stuck in tracffic for about 40++min, this time engine didn't die, but few time when rev to 2-2.5k rpm then it drop..... have to stop aside wait a while (like 5 min) then start again, back to normal then......

both time my oil and water temp are both 90c++ below 100c, seems normal....how come the engine will stop working?

y the rpm will drop? is my gear box overheating?

anyone got similar experiences? or anyone can advice how to actually determine if engine or tranny is overheating? anyway to improve the cooling?

appreciate ur input...

It really kinda sounds like your O2 sensor or Cat Converter being clogged. If your O2 sensor is due for replacement, try that first. The limit in RPM while hot really sounds exhaust related. Let us know!
