RX8 - 20b swap / part II

so.... my friends tell me when i want things done right, do it myself. so that's what i'll do. but don't start on a snowy day...

to be fair, i had a military contractor who works on mine sweepers to help me get things started!

He has been on...G3tR3DDY2GR3DDY i THINK

I'm going to have a look at my car..back in a couple of minutes

OK:

Separate feeds from the battery....there is also a plug that is in the same part of the harness that connects to the plug in the corner above the nuts..need a wiring dia to trace that one...

How are you running the stock trigger wheel setup so your dash and Tach work??

just went out but my hood has about 1ft of snow on it. probably do it tomorrow after the snow passes.

this is promising. i thought the main comp was fried.
will post tomorrow.

i'm sandwiching the reluctor ring between the ac pulley & a/c compressor pulley. i made a bracket for the magnet sensor. that's just for the tach. i'm running distributer style CAS for the haltech. i have the florida guy with the blue rx8 with 20b to thank for this idea

yea i don't even know how to hook up the stock throttle control. i'd love keep it to keep the cruise control, but i may just run it by mechanical wire instead.

If you had the stock trigger wheel setup...and the MOP hooked up electrically it should work. I have a Haltech on my Renesis setup and that's what I did..I have a custom Hall effect sensor for the Haltech and the stock trigger wheel running the rest of the car. The wiring caused a few headaches...but it works good now
