Rx-8 FD3S engine swap with 13B Re Intate, Street ported and a Greddy 25g Turbo kit.

It is time for me to Introduse to you my project car which is a work off 2 years and always in progress...
The first parts I installed were a varis carbon hood, a rear custom rear carbon wing, custom front lip, mazda side, and 2-peace Racing Brakes disks.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
My exhost is a Greddy trust with customized trims from Porche cayenne.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Next one was a handmade carpc based on a 10,1 atom laptop in the upper dash..

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
It has proven useful over the years... I can't imagine the car without it.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
And 2 gauges in an amemiya gauge panel.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I closed the cenrtal heating systen in order to get cold air to cool down the laptop.
the carbon fibre parts are real.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
And a carbon fibre central console with leather patrs

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Back to business.. In order to go to the major horse power upgrade I had to do something with my rear tires!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
A 285-35-18 in a stock look custom 10,5wide with 25 offset wheel was apropriate for that!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
And some fun... A nice trunk sub to help the bose sound system!
I hope one day to make all interior floor in red and the roof black.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
It is time for the good staff... the FD3S engine customized under my hood by the best rotary tuner in greece, The JDM-R! This is a powerfull ported engine on a 25g turbo kit with more than 450HP.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
After some fun on and off the track ... And a beautyfull starter body kit(to be continued)!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
FireWorks came!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
But unfortunately we had to put them out, for street legal reasons!(My Girlfriend is very ungry with me for that!)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
The exhost is made from the hands or JDM-R Owner Mr Tsigaras and is a work of art!
The external goes around the cat...

and the diameter is 80mm

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Except for the exhost there was installed a tein Flex suspension, cusco sway bars and a cusco 2 way differential.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Sorry for the big post!
to be continued...

A nicely done bull bar for light weight reason...

and a rear one...

Some red is missing...

and a black battary.. and some more red...

Jdm-r always delivers.
I'm glad you're enjoying the car!

I see your car was very close to our stand at last year's meeting. You may want to talk to spiffm about the carbon diffuser

You will see a dyno during the winter. It is not right to talk about HP Without one!
JDM-R has done this setup in more than 10 RX-7 and with some dyno and it is about 500HP at 1,1Bar.
We will see in time...

Spiffm is a very good friend of mine, last week I was at his place and we were designing the diffuser together as well as the flat bottom. I was the the one who fixed his front fender louvres...small world!

Lol... the greek rotary community is awesome and I deal with some of their members on a daily basis for screamingtyres.com and our forum. Spiffm just happens to be one of them, i met him in person a year ago we became close friends

If you think that this build is amazing just wait to see dimitseba's own bodywork...

Did you widen the rear RX-8 wheels to 10.5?
