or you can port the crap out of the RENI and turbo it and run E85 and make 550hp. you will spend less money.
What is it with ridiculous Renesis HP claims? Not to mention this REW swap grenaded within 6 months.

I PM'ed janousekmike for **** and giggles to see what he is offering. I will let you know what he comes back with.

I will entertain the thought as of right now but a swap of this nature will not happen until it is paid off.

Just to throw this out there in Neal ' s defense hid REW swap is a marvelous piece of engineering. He just got a little to excited about the power it made on a base tune running 91 Oct. A cracked side seal and Apex from destination is a small price to pay for taking that risk. He now runs E85 which I would recommend for anyone wanting to make serious power with a turbo rotary. Not sure about E85 on a turbo RENY, but I'm sure it would last longer then using 91 pump.

So a bit of a back story to get it out of the way, yes I'm that guy. I'm not trying to stir up anything and I'm a avid member of the RX7 CLUB which I have been for many years. I just recently became a member to the RX8 CLUB to test the waters with everyone's interest in the REW Swap or 3 rotor swaps whatever the individual would prefer to suit there seat. I don't work on cars for a living only as a passion and straight love for the Rotaries.
The only reason why I told Neal not to mention me in his post is that it was his money, his vision, I just showed him how to do it, and did from what I see on reading this forum, the impossible task of rewiring a RX8 to make all factory comforts to the REW swap work and talk to the factory ECU. The car came out truly amazing and Neal did an extensive amount of work in helping me with plumbing my house it was a good trade. Either way we did it for a hobby and went in on renting a huge shop facility for out hobby "Building for the reason to be an enthusiast". So if there are people that have the same vision yes I can build what ever kit you would like and get you to your end point.
Just so you know I'm not feeding you a line of ****. Here is a link to my current built on the RX7 Forum.

You are correct. I'm porting the ever living crap out of the exhaust ports and thinking about adding PP exhaust ports along with the side exhaust ports. I'm going to be trying a couple different things. The car will be a test platform. I will build one engine just with ported exhaust ports and its a half bridge port only the six port will be bridged for top end. The idea is to keep a smooth idle and make stupid power.
