The factory engine harness. Ive been thinking how to make this work. Was thinking about FFE trigger kit (because i have one laying around) may also work but need more specifics about how the rack actually works. Then i could just switch the ign settup without having to change the timing cover. I wouldnt want to bring back the mess of cables of the factory harness. Sorry for the extra post, trouble with the mobile site.

It really depends on what aftermarket ecu you are using. I'm currently using the FFE trigger setup to run both the stock system and my megasquirt.

Here's my solution in conjunction with FFE trigger kit setup. Cano, there's no need for you to figure out how the power steering works. When the ecu see's the right signal from the cas trigger, and gets a rpm signal it then sends the right power to the unit. Using the stock cas trigger with it's trigger wheel is all you need, of course you need to still have all it's wiring still intact.

Please call Full Function Engineering and tell them you want the RX8 style FC (MAG sensor)trigger kit for the RX8 engine swap. Tell Jason you want the same kit that Spyro from Greece has.
