R.I.P. is happy to offer engine rebuild services to RX8 Club members.

Pricing is $2600 for a stock rebuild. Each motor will come with a 2 year/ 24000 mile warranty when you provided a good core and a qualified mazda repair shop or equivalant shop installs the motor. R.I.P. can and will do the removal and install if you are willing to ship your car. R.I.P. can help w/ transportation service if you require it. The removal/installation rate is $1000.

R.I.P. focuses on the highest quality in rebuilds. Each of these motors will receive new seals on the rotors. There are no within spec seals used, all are brand spanking newsky.

Guys and Gals,

I can build one of the cores on hand and ship it out. Once your core is received and inspected you would get a refund on the core.

Price of Rebuilt core $3500 through the end of the year. After tear down and inspection of your core a refund of $500 to $1000 would be provided back to you.

Definitely interested, but I don't think I can fit it in the budget before the new year. Just to be clear the price jumps back to $2600, right?

2012 Price change to $2750. You will see a more expensive price on the website. There will be a code on for RX8club members to display this price.

Upgrades

I see there is an extra $300 for porting. Do you offer pricing on anything else? Lightened rotors? Ceramic apex seals?

Those services are available but are over kill for street applications. If a customer wants it done I can provide those services, but those are more race oriented. I don't know your application you are looking for so I hope that answered your question.
