What kind of hardware configuration is used for the tip? Double locking nuts/bolts?
I bought one of these from a friend who is returning his car to stock and he stopped using the tip while he had it because the nuts kept coming loose and the tip would sag().

Ok, thought I'd post an opinion a few days later. Wall of text warnings.
Stock headers - AP Dual Resonated Midpipe - RR Single-Exit CatBack
First Impression: LOUD. LOUD LOUD LOUD. Hang tight.
-->
Second and more seasoned impression: "I feel... I feel... oh this feels good."
-->
To follow up with more of the noise level, my dad rode along with me to the store and while we were talking with the windows up and down it never got anything like a level he couldn't hear me just fine at. He has no hearing problems and never complained once about it being too loud.
When I had gasket leaks with just the midpipe, I got all kinds of little bubbles on throttle lift. Those went away when I replaced the gaskets on both side of the midpipe with these. I got used to hearing almost-stock levels of sound again and then I installed this catback and the bubbles are back with a fury. They sound awesome and I'm pretty sure every time one goes off, the dream bubble of a little Prius detonates. Without trying a brand new gasket on the catback side of the midpipe I can't say for sure this is because of the exhaust or a leak I don't realize exists. Either way it sounds cool.
I should probably also mention I'm getting the same tapping that 1.3LittersOfFurry was having as well. The exhaust is hitting the bottom of the frame beside/behind the diff.
Oh yeah - flames, Flames, FLAMES. See Litter's video above.

I'm coming from stock exhaust with the AP Dual Res and it got loud when I had loose gaskets, but never ever anything this forceful.
I'd say this runs(while driving with the windows down), somewhere along the lines of being right beside a Harley going 70mph on-the-throttle loud. There doesn't appear to be any drone at normal highway driving speeds (60-75mph). Window down isn't so much different, but a little improved. At some RPM range(I'm thinking closer to 2800rpm?) it actually hits a buzz that makes things in my left ear sound fuzzy. Now I re-used the crush gasket that I just installed a couple weeks ago so that might be part of the reason but nothing sounds like a rattle or loose. But I think alot of this might be because it is my personal first experience with an aftermarket exhaust on my own car.

Once you get used to the volume(note, volume - not tone or sound)... which on recap isn't much worse than the average redneck truck(I live in the Carolinas). You really get to notice the tone it's putting off. A deep, dare I say exotic? sound that makes you giggle a little when you blip the throttle under an overpass or when passing another car for the reverb. This sounds nothing like the "ricer tone" that my friends and family expected it to be like. It's a very smooth sound all the way through the rev range(with the exception of the AP Dual Res rasp somewhere between 4.5-5kRPM - which is muted compared to stock). It's such a clean, abnormally smooth sound for a car with such a nice bass tone that you keep expecting it to crack, or to rattle, or to choke, or to sound like so many other ricers on the road, only to be rewarded with this symphony that I'm falling in love with.

So I did this:
Then took a hammer to it and ovaled it out a bit where it meets the frame. Gained about an inch extra of clearance.
(We initially did this because I was getting a bad rattle, but in the end it turns out it was my motor mounts that was missing a bolt. It was good we did this "mod" anyways because it would for sure end up rattling some time or another)

This exhaust is awesome!!
I've had it for a little over a month now and couldn't be happier. It saved me around 15lbs over the Borla. And paired with a custom midpipe with a high flow cat and resonator, it's a good bit louder than the Borla was. I race my car just about every weekend and have been having a few power issues, after this exhaust was installed I definitely noticed an increase in power.
Heres a video of me from the Peru National Tour, yes it has music, but you can still hear how amazing it sounds.

hey guys i'm kinda screwed right now. i tried pm'ing brice but its the holiday weekend so it doesnt look like i'll be getting a reply any time soon. anyways i took off the exhaust to polish and at the same time trying to fix the rattle and i placed the bolts on the floor next to me. my buddy who was helping me was walking around and accidentally kicked them and now i can't find them.
i think i can go to ACE hardware store or something and use those bolts but i dont know the specs/sizes of them
i know two bolts connect the pipe to the stock cat and two bolts connect the exhaust to the pipe. are they the same size?
i feel like a ****** douche for leaving it on the floor in the first place. any help?

I am getting the wierd low rpm/high load buzzing as well. Thought it was the hanger on the int pipe rattling against the diff. I wrapped it and it is still there. I will have to do some more digging around, but I dont think my issue has to do with the axelback hitting the rear lower frame since on the S2 i have adjustable hangers.
Other than that ... i LOVE driving my car .... especially WOT 2nd gear, then a shift to 3rd and you get that sexy deep thump (and probably a flame :-p )

I know a lot of people say its not worth having a cat due to the fact it can/will burn out but for a system is it worth getting one to reduce the smell that rotary a produce
