Any and all resonators, silencers, catalytic converters have a shelf life and will break down eventually. When has yet to be seen with this midpipe, for 4 months that is rather short for the AP midpipe but if you race/autox I would not be surprised.

Very tempted to get the DR. Otherwise I may just get the high flow cat version. What's your ETA on those?

I have an OBX test pipe and a high flow cat laying around I was going to weld up but I'm afraid of clearance issues and rasp. Especially since I love my RB exhaust - though a bit quiet.

Buy the straight pipe here ($150) and have an exhaust shop TIG weld (∼$75) a Davesport cat ($138) just ahead of the O2 bung.

A high flow cat pipe for approx. $375

Any idea on the pricing of the high flow cat? Rough guess is fine.

Bump for any updates. Who has a RR midpipe and what configuration is it? Any comments to share with everyone?

I'm interested in a high flow cat with resonator. I am going to put one on a friend's son's car so I don't want it to be too loud, but want it to sound good.
