Might serve you best to provide some sound clips and such since many midpipes are prone to crazy rasping.

DarkBrew 07-10-2012 11:26 AM

What type of silencer are you using?
Are you considering adding a Davesport cat ahead of the O2 sensor fitting?

+1 on sound clips

I prefer to let customers provide their own feedback and videos. It has been my exp. that feedback from peers is way better than what I provide.

They are a standard exhaust silencer. I am confident that customers will be very satisfied with the Midpipes.

TopGear8 07-10-2012 07:18 PM

I might need one. But I also need it to have a high flow cat.

Emery_ 07-10-2012 07:39 PM

This would come up a week after I ordered a OBX cat delete... And agreed, a sound clip of the sound would be nice.

olddragger 07-10-2012 07:43 PM

very reasonable cost and they use the oem gasket? Sweet.

redline86 07-10-2012 09:20 PM

What is the packing material in the resonators?

High flows would be a great option for those that still want to be EPA/AutoX compliant.

Here is my car with Davesport cat mid pipe and RB REV8 exhaust... no resonator.

Shot from a distance... at night...

But you get an idea of what it sounds like

Next production run I will have a high flow cat option with a 200 Cell Cat.

Yes sir it will retain the OEM Donut gasket for easier installation between exhaust systems.

Stainless Steel packing.

Hell ya! This is somethng I'm excited to see! Quick question before ordering. Is dual resonated going to cut down on rasp more than single? I am not worried about overall volume as I am with tone. Also. Will dual resonators be a problem when I go boosted?

It will change the exhaust note yes and reduce the rasp. Going FI down the road would not play a major factor IMO for going for dual versus single.

looking to purchase one, hopefully they're not raspy like the agency power ones!

We told you it would and you ignored us :dunno:

A soundclip after one trackday would be more relevant..or after a month of spirited driving

GK1707 07-12-2012 08:59 AM

*waits for soundclip*

Race Roots 07-12-2012 10:05 AM

Correction they are stainless steel packing.

Arca_ex 07-12-2012 10:27 AM

So the same as Agency Power. On my AP the front resonator blew out after about 4 months and the second was on its way when I got rid of it. If anyone gets this go for the straight pipe because that's what you'll end up with no matter which one you buy lol.

GK1707 07-12-2012 11:19 AM

I think you should also make a 2.5inch version of this pipe. If the steel packing does blow like the Agency Power. It might possibly be a little quieter because of restriction from a smaller diameter pipe.

laythor 07-12-2012 01:48 PM

in which case why not just stay with the stock pipe?

Naughtydawg63 07-13-2012 06:52 AM

So you think this is more comparable to the agency power or the racing beat dual res?

Race Roots 07-13-2012 10:16 AM

Agency Power, Racing Beat uses pre-silencers if I am not mistaken.
