The smaller recessed nut did the trick, Brice. I did not need replace anything on RB plate.. just the recessed nut on the remote sender.
5 tries and she's on, mostly. Encountered a leak with one of the fittings and had to replace it. Looks like I've got a slow leak in another. No worries though as I'm in the process of sourcing a completely new set of hoses and fittings.
Just need to figure out the actual AN size so I order the right stuff.

gotta love necromancy. gives one the opportunity to revisit long forgotten transactions and reflect on the reality of them.
these kits were absolute garbage. the only piece I was able to salvage was the actual sender plate and that required new fittings to fit a reasonably sized filter. Besides, Brice ran his shop out of his garage if memory serves correctly.

You did not miss anything. You can make one yourself for about the same price and not have to worry about bad lines. It was a cheap kit that couldn't even be used without making my own lines and since I am going turbocharged I cannot even use it.
