Greddy Oil Line Help

Hey guys, just finished installing the Greddy Kit that I bought off of a member here on rx8club. Upon the first startup, I was leaking a steady flow of oil from the oil pressure line where it meets the turbo. I immediately shut off and decided I just needed to tighten the line.

So I removed half the kit in order to get to the line again, tightened it a few turns..(as tight as I could get it) and put it back together.

Started back up and go figure, leaking in the same spot....tightening the fitting didn't affect it at all.

Any suggestions? Do I need to replace that line? If so where do I get it? I'm really not looking forward to tearing the car back apart...again.

It's leaking from above the threads, so does this mean the line itself is bad?

if it's leaking from the line you're going to have to replace it.

I figured that. Does anybody know where I can get one? I found one on ebay for $75 but not sure if it is the right size. It just says its a Greddy Oil Line thats 800mm long.

Just find a hydraulic hose place, take the line to them and have them recreate it. Just let them know it will be in a high heat situation so they can use the right hose and heat shielding. Chances are the hose they make will be way more durable than the Greddy hose anyway.

which one? Make sure you keep an eye on it. (I'm always tentative with ebay stuff. I guess I'm just oldschool lol).
