Because this is info I'd love to have for Candadian dealers and I can't find such info here.

 

economy of scale? Actually, invoice now is not the same as it used to be. 10 years ago invoice was pretty much true invoice, then after too much reporting of invoice prices, the dealers and makers smarted up, and invoice now is just another number. it does not reflect the true cost to the dealer.

 

In the US, free auto information services like www.edmunds.com and www.kbb.com provide invoice pricing (along with true market value, an indicator of what the best price is that you might get in your zip code area).

In Canada, invoice pricing is available for a charge from www.carcostcanada.com . I've used them several times over the past 4 or 5 years. There are no free Canadian invoice pricing services available.
